Take control of your referrals

You're already sitting on referral rewards — buried in your inbox. Refersome finds the programs you belong to, digs out your personal links, and gets them ready to share.

The scan runs in your browser — your emails never reach our servers. We keep only what we find: your codes and programs.

Your emails never reach our servers

Reading an inbox is a serious ask, so we built Refersome so we simply can't: the entire scan runs on your device, and the only thing sent to us is what it finds — tiny snippets from referral emails, like your code and which programs you belong to. Never the emails themselves.

  • The scan happens on your device

Your browser reads your inbox directly with Google; our servers are never in the loop. Emails are checked on your device and immediately discarded.

  • Only small snippets leave your browser

From referral emails we extract just the essentials — your personal code or link, which programs you're a member of, and the sender's name. That's the entire list.

  • Read-only, one scan at a time

You authorise each scan with Google as you run it, and the permission can never send, delete or change anything. We hold no password, token or key to your inbox — there's nothing on our side that could read it later.

  • Private by default

Nothing is publicly visible until you create a profile and choose to share. Clear your results or delete your account any time.

About us

Refersome started with a simple observation: almost everyone is owed referral rewards they will never claim. Your bank will pay you to introduce a friend. So will your energy supplier, your cashback site, and half the apps on your phone. The links are real and the money is real — but they're buried three menus deep in an app, or in an email you archived two years ago.

So we built the tool we wanted: connect your inbox once, and see every program you already belong to with your own link ready to share. No sign-up chores, no spreadsheet of codes, no giving a company a new customer for free.

We're privacy-first by architecture, not just by promise: the inbox scan runs in your browser, so your emails never reach our servers at all — we receive only the snippets it extracts from referral emails, like your code and your memberships. Nothing is public unless you share it. And we're independent: rewards are paid to you directly by the companies, and we take no cut.

Frequently asked questions

What is Refersome?

Refersome finds the referral rewards you're already entitled to. Most companies you use — your bank, your energy supplier, cashback sites — will pay you for introducing a friend, but the links get buried and forgotten. Refersome scans your Gmail to work out which programs you belong to, digs out your personal referral links, and puts them in one wallet ready to share.

What are referrals?

A referral (or "refer a friend") reward is money or credit a company gives you for bringing them a new customer — typically with a bonus for the friend too. For example, some banks pay you £10–£20 when a friend joins through your link, and energy suppliers commonly give £50 to each of you. You already have these links; companies just don't make them easy to find.

Why do you need access to my emails?

Your inbox is the one place that already knows which companies you have accounts with — and it's often where your personal referral link was sent. Here's the key part: the access is granted to your own browser, not to us. When you press Scan, Google asks you to authorise read-only access for that scan, your browser reads the inbox right there on your device, and our servers are never in the loop. The permission is used for exactly two things — spotting which programs you're a member of, and finding your own referral link — and it can't send, delete or change anything.

Do my emails ever reach your servers?

No — and not as a promise, as a design. The scan runs entirely in your browser, so your emails never leave your device. The only thing sent to Refersome is the handful of small snippets the scan extracts from referral emails: your personal code or link, which programs you belong to, and the sender's name for programs we don't list yet. No message bodies, no subject lines, no attachments — we couldn't store your emails even if we wanted to, because we never receive them.

Is my data safe?

We hold no key to your inbox: there's no stored password or token on our side, so even a full breach of our servers couldn't expose your email. What we do hold is just the extracted snippets — your codes and memberships — and none of it is public unless you choose to share it in the forum or on your profile. You can clear your scan results, delete wallet items, or delete your whole account at any time, and you can withdraw the Google permission from your Google account settings.

Does Refersome cost anything?

No — Refersome is free while we're in early access. The rewards you earn from your referral links are yours; they're paid by the companies directly and we take no cut.

Which programs do you support?

We track 20 popular UK referral programs across banking, cashback, energy, mobile, investing and food — including Monzo, American Express, TopCashback, Octopus Energy, Revolut and giffgaff — and the catalog is growing. If we spot referral-style emails from a company we don't list yet, we'll show it as a discovered deal that you can submit to our team for verification.

How do friends work?

You can send a friend request to any user by their username. Once accepted (friendships are mutual), their shared codes are marked with a 🤝 badge and shown first in the forum — so when you sign up for something new, you use a friend's link and keep the reward between you.
